A private developer, Maple Realty Trust and officials of the Town of Rockland have collaborated to provide this affordable housing opportunity in Rockland.  The development has been approved for 72 single family homes of which 18 homes are designated as affordable and sold to first time homebuyers with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income.

The Town of Rockland was first settled around 1673. It was formerly the northeast section of Abington.
